The Read and Buried Podcast was started in 2022 by good friends and crime book lovers, Frankie and Sarah. It began as a podcast for reviewing books, both old and new, but soon moved to an interview format with authors from the genre. Since then, it has proudly hosted interviews with some of the biggest names in crime writing alongside new and emerging talent. 

In January 2024, Sarah left the podcast (but is still alive and well, promise) and Frankie has continued as a solo host. 

Outside of Read and Buried, Frankie is also the co-host of The Labours of Hercule, a podcast dedicated to the popular TV show Agatha Christie’s Poirot. She also moderates book panels from time to time, and has been lucky enough to host events at the Harrogate Crime Writing Festival and the Farnham Literary Festival.
